How to Restore Your Older MacBook?

Begin with Internet Recovery Mode

- Now, choose the Wi-Fi network & input the password.
Quickly Upgrade to Mac OS X
You need to quickly upgrade to Mac OS X, follow the steps mentioned below.
- Get started by opening the App Store on your device.
- Then you should choose Purchased.
- You have to log in to the App Store.
- Thereafter move down until you check an older Mac OS version such macOS X Mountain Lion.
- Now, you should click on DOWNLOAD.
Upgrading to Mac OS High Sierra
If you want to upgrade to Mac OS high sierra, then you need to follow the instructions given below.
- To get started, open the App Store on your device.
- Go to the search bar.
- Enter macOS High Sierra into the search bar.
- Now, click on DOWNLOAD.
Restoring your Back-Up Data
- To begin with, open the Migration Assistant on your device.
- Then you should click on Continue.
- You have to input the Password.
- Thereafter click on OK.
- You should choose to move from a MacBook, Time Machine backup, or startup disk.
- You should click on Continue.
- Later, you have to choose the Time Machine location wherever you would like to.
- Go to the Continue option.
- Then you should input the Time Machine password if required.
- Navigate to the Connect option
- After that, you have to choose the backup File.
- Go to the Continue & click on it.
- Thereafter you should choose the Macintosh HD.
- Navigate to the Continue tab & click on it.
- Go to “The information you want to be restored.” You should choose all for a complete restore.
- Later, click on Continue.
- Now, permit the upgrades to occur if prompted such as iTunes.
- Go to the Continue & click on it.
